The Very Best of Versace for H&M, 2011

So Versace is going to be selling their " Very Best" at H&M on November 19th at selected stores. This has potential to be a good thing, but I highly doubt they would sell anything for that cheap. Which I dont blame them. But this is still pretty rad. They have made the announcement on H&M's  face book and here some of the looks we can look forward too. :) I my self am pretty excited, and hopefully I am working again by then so I can purchase at least 1 item for my wardrobe collection. I promise whatever it is, I will re-purpose it in a thousand different ways to make it worth the loot!

Thank you Versace!! This is a beautiful thing!!!

Black, White & Yellow :)

I wore 2 comfy sweaters that I have had forever. A pretty black and white sweater ( forever 21 $15)  I call Mary poppins (below), with adorable buttons. And a marigold sweater from Target ($17). I was sweating like a fluffer in church. It was so hot, but it was so cold outside.
My "Marry Poppins "sweater.

I paired the sweaters with shorts, (grey, or gray) fishnet tights from American Apparel on sale for $6 and of course Jeffrey Campbells. From Nasty Gal ! ( http://www.shopnastygal.com/products/new/clothing/shoes/Lita-Platform-Boot-%252d-Black-.html )

Shorts from Urban Outfitters sale last winter. $40 for $9!!!

And topped it off with a Houndstooth jacket from American Apparel for $40.

And I did my nails. Free hand with a white thin brush from a swap meet I purchase my nail polish. $1 ... yupp :0) Other wise I would not be able to afford all of the nail polish I purchase.

Legalize LA

American Apparel at their headquarters downtown gives the greatest gift to all the AA and fashion lovers of Los Angeles. A week or so of factory outlet prices.  I went with my best friend and it was a blast to say the least. Thank you American Apparel, your made in LA, and in the wonderful U S of A. I salute you.

The building in its self is a reason to go. I took way too many photos of the building. Old buildings, brick, broken windows and concrete.... I love it!

Really..... I went to help Ally to find an outfit for Halloween. I was not planning on spending any money. Well I was blatantly lying to myself, knowing that would not be the case. I would feel like an idiot if I didn't take advantage of these deals anyways.
Tights for $6 bucks... we were thrilled

And surprise! To top it all off and make me fall even more in love with that whole shopping situation. There. Was. Vintage. ON SALE!

Yes, I absolutely love vintage shopping more than anything. Perfect combos, are modern trends with a vintage punch. That is my steeze and im sticking to it.

I believe I must do the honer of thanking my Momma for my love of vintage fashion and all that be. Whether its furniture or shoes, and way older than myself... im sold .

To be honest my love for vintage was an acquired taste. My mom says since I was able to walk I loved cloths, and I loved to dress up. Although, as I grew older shopping for my love of fashion was not something my mom spoiled me with, rightfully so. But she never hesitated to give me her hand me downs to make up for it. Or I had to get my ass a job, and buy my own damn cloths..... which was still frowned upon in her eyes. Money was to be put in the bank. Well I eventually began to fall hard, and had a new found love for everything my mom saved, from high school, to college throughout her years, and still to this day, I love to raid her closet.

And my love for fashion continues to grow and mature, and my appreciation for all the tiny details and steals!
The amazing industrial elevator with a sliding steel door..... so rad.

These leather basket weave flats ... prezzzy from my momma <3

I was like a little girl in a candy shop.

Amazing pair of vintage wool shorts, which were too big :( Of course there were no dressing rooms, what a nightmare that would have been. But we did not hesitate to have our own lil fashion show in the corner of our own.

And a steel! $12 for these fun and comfortable pants originally $48 ( I think). A high rise look with a tight top and it's an easy look that looks like a fortune.
I paired it with a $5 gold Cleopatra necklace from a thrift store.

And a pair of Steve Madden zip up nude patent leather booties and a black scarf and I was ready to make my way to Melrose for the night.

It was a blast. And so was that day to say the least.
You don't always have to pay to play.... or pay that much at least :)

This shall begin.

Hello,

My name is Michelle, and  it is a pleasure to begin my blogging adventure. Thank you delightedly for stopping by. To be honest I was torn from where to begin. I currently have a plethora of photos accumulated of different outfits in my wardrobe, and initially thought I would begin posting from my collection. I thought I would make post after post until I finally made it to today's outfit, nail job, or new idea. Well i've changed my mind. A lot is evolving in my life lately, Starting fresh and new in many aspects that are Michelle Fine. So In turn I shall begin my blog fresh and new. And without further adieu... here is what I have :)

Target Sweater in XS, An old tube top I never wear, in marigold, that I re-purposed for a skirt, H&M tights from last year and my recent gift, Jeffrey Campbell Litas in black leather from Nasty Gal ( http://www.shopnastygal.com/products/new/clothing/shoes/Lita-Platform-Boot-%252d-Black-.html )

When you're not in the mood for bed hair, and not into the idea of putting much effort into styling or just dont have time, a bun is a classic answer. More importantly a "sock bun" on top pf your head. I have very curly hair and usually do this after a straight blow dry. ) This is also great because it benefits for you for 2 lazy hair days. Sleep in this "Sock bun", and when you wake up the next day, unravel your hair, you have fabulous curls. If your hair isn't quite as long, and you do not want to bobby pin the back all the loose ends or fly aways, a french braid works great all day, and also looks very pretty. I will post a sock bun tutorial. :)

Halloween is near. In the past month I have done a few different designs that I would love to share.
